Sweden Celebrated their National Day last June 06, 2023 at the Shangrila, BGC. Ambassador Annika Thunborg said โThis yearโs annual eventโs purpose is to strengthen the green & sustainable trade relation between Philippines and Swedenโ.
Sweden Embassy Trade Commissioner Kristina Elinder-Lilijas remarked that Swedish companies such as H&M, SAAB, Transcom, Atlas Copco, Volvo Cars, Electrolux, IKEA, Tetra Pack among others operate in the Philippines. Other world renown brand such as Minecraft, Candy Crush & Spotify are part of Filipino in daily lives.Further, Ambassador Thunborg considers sustainable transportation as one that has much potential in the Swedish Philippine collaboration.
