The Iloilo Convention Center or ICON is iconic because it is the convention center with a remarkable structure – a beautiful landmark in the heart of the business district in Iloilo. We envision to make it the premier MICE destination in Region 6 by 2020 with your patronage. The colorful sails, dancing to the wind and the beat of the surf during the Paraw Regatta Festival served as the inspiration for the landmark exterior of ICON. The famous Dinagyang festival is also incorporated in the design, seen through the stencils of warriors on ICON’s glass panels. It is true what our tourism slogan says: Iloilo is where the past is always present.
