The Department of Tourism Region VI (DOT) requested assistance from the Iloilo City government through the Iloilo City MICE Center. The MICE staff and on-the-job trainees of Iloilo City Community College and St. Therese MTC-Colleges assisted during the lei greeting to welcome 180 visitors, including social media influencers, at the Fort San Pedro Terminal.
The DOT recently launched the 2GOKada Creators Cruise in collaboration with 2GO Travel. Iloilo City is one of the most popular stops on their itinerary. The ICMC supports this project of the DOT, which aims to promote and mainstream our tourist destinations through the influence of young travel vloggers and influencers.
